The San Francisco 49ers announced that the team has opened the practice window for defensive tackle Kevin Givens. Givens landed on injured reserve on September 25 due to a high-ankle sprain. The 49ers have 21 days to decide whether or not to activate the defender.
San Francisco signed Givens (6-1, 285) as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State in 2019. He registered one tackle through two games this season before landing on injured reserve.
Givens, 24, has recorded 21 tackles, a sack, and a pass defensed in 16 game appearances (one start) through his three NFL seasons, per Pro Football Reference.
