Quick Takeaways

Tight end George Kittle was the best player on the field at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday. His game-leading overall Pro Football Focus grade of 91.1 edged defensive end Nick Bosa's defense-leading grade of 91.0. Kittle has back-to-back overall grades of 91-or-higher and has surpassed 91.0 three times this season.

Tackle Trent Williams' insane overall grade of 99.0 this season keeps him on pace to earn Pro Football Focus' highest-ever single-season grade for an individual player. He has earned an overall grade of 90-or-higher four times this season and dipped below 80.1 just once this season (77.1 in Week 5).

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo's overall grade of 66.3 is his lowest since Week 7. He completed 27-of-41 passing attempts for 296 yards and two touchdowns against the Bengals. He was 6-of-6 for 77 yards and the game-winning touchdown in the 49ers' final drive in overtime.

On Sunday, Bosa recorded three tackles and two sacks, bringing his season sack total to a career-high 14. That's the most by a Niner since Aldon Smith's 19.5 sacks in 2012. In addition, Bosa's overall grade of 91.0 from Sunday's game is a season-high mark and his best regular-season grade since Week 5 of his rookie 2019 season.

Defensive end Charles Omenihu recorded his best grade as a member of the 49ers and his highest grade since Week 3 when he was still with the Houston Texans.

Defensive end Samson Ebukam's 82.4 overall grade was a season-high mark, while wide receiver Deebo Samuel's 54.5 overall grade was a season-low. However, it was Samuel's first game back since suffering a groin strain, and the wideout is still enjoying a career-high 83.6 overall grade this season.

Samuel has six rushing touchdowns this season, making him the first player in the Super Bowl era, whose primary position is listed as a wide receiver, to register five-or-more rushing touchdowns in a season.
