The San Francisco 49ers opted not to place a restricted tender on defensive end Kentavius Street, making him a free agent. The team likely hoped to bring him back, likely at a bargain. That won't happen. Tom Pelissero of NFL Media is reporting that the New Orleans Saints are signing Street.

San Francisco made Street (6-2, 287) a fourth-round selection out of NC State in 2018. He spent his first NFL season and most of his second on injured reserve.
Street, 25, has recorded 42 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, three sacks, and a forced fumble in 35 game appearances and four starts through his three NFL seasons (not counting 2018).
