A day after visiting the Detroit Lions, former San Francisco 49ers defensive end Arden Key is visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Media. However, the Lions remain "very much in play."

The then-Oakland Raiders made Key (6-5, 240) a third-round selection out of LSU in 2018. He ranked second on the 49ers in sacks last season with 6.5, behind Nick Bosa's 15.5, while adding 22 tackles, five tackles for a loss, 17 quarterback hits, and a pass defensed through his 17 game appearances.

The 49ers have already lost two defensive linemen—D.J. Jones and Kentavius Street—in free agency.
