Last week, the San Francisco 49ers agreed to a three-year deal with safety George Odum, making the signing official on Tuesday. Reports initially had the contract valued at $10.95 million. However, the details of the agreement have recently emerged.
While the signing bonus is paid to Odum immediately, the cap impact is spread out through the next five years ($400,000 each year), including two void years (2025, 2026).

$665,000 of the base salary in 2023 is guaranteed for injury or if Odum is on the roster on April 1, 2023. Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network provided that detail.
San Francisco has a potential out on the contract in 2024, which would make it a two-year, $4.475 million deal with $1.2 million in dead cap space.
