Matt Barrows of The Athletic wrote a feature about some of the known pre-draft visits the San Francisco 49ers are hosting ahead of next week's event. In doing so, he revealed some new names that had not yet been reported.
The newly reported visits are listed below, shown in the order of The Athletic's projected selection spots for the prospects.

OL Sean Rhyan, UCLA
"Rhyan is comfortable on the hoof having played in Chip Kelley's up-tempo, zone-running scheme at UCLA," wrote Barrows. "He also has good strength, and his highlight film is full of him throwing opponents to the field. Perhaps best of all: Rhyan started all 31 games the last three seasons and only gave up two sacks while with the Bruins."
At the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6' 4 5/8" and 321-pound Rhyan had a 40-time of 5.25 seconds, a vertical jump of 33.5 inches, a broad jump of 110 inches, a 7.55-second three-cone drill time, and a 20-yard shuttle time of 4.81 seconds. Rhyan's other measurables include an arm length of 32 3/8 inches and hands measuring 11 1/8 inches.
DT Kalia Davis, UCF
Davis registered 17 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, and a sack through five game appearances as a senior in 2021. He recorded 61 tackles, 15 tackles for a loss, four sacks, two passes defensed, and a forced fumble through his four collegiate seasons.
"The 49ers want quickness and explosion from their defensive tackles, and that's the area at which Davis excels," wrote Barrows. ".. Defensive line coach Kris Kocurek wants disrupters at defensive tackle. That's where Davis excels."
The 6'1" and 302-pound Davis had 30 reps in the bench press at his personal Pro Day.
WR Velus Jones, Tennessee
Jones registered 62 receptions for 807 yards and seven touchdowns through 13 game appearances as a senior in 2021. In addition, he was a standout kick returner, averaging 27.3 yards on 23 returns last season.
"He's also a terrific kick and punt returner," wrote Barrows. "He led the SEC in kick returns in 2020 and 2021 and averaged 15.1 yards on punt returns last season."
At the NFL Scouting Combine, the 5' 11 3/4" and 204-pound Jones had a 40-time of 4.31 seconds, a vertical jump of 33 inches, and a broad jump of 121 inches. Jones' other measurables include an arm length of 30 7/8 inches and hands measuring 9 3/4 inches.
CB Cordale Flott, LSU
Flott registered 40 tackles, one tackle for a loss, three passes defensed, an interception, and a forced fumble through 11 game appearances as a junior in 2021. He recorded 98 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, 10 passes defensed, an interception, and two forced fumbles through his three collegiate seasons.
"He played all over LSU's defense, including at safety and outside cornerback," wrote Barrows. "He spent the most time, however, in the slot where his quick hips were best put to use. He's one of the youngest players in the draft and won't turn 21 until the end of August."
The 6' 0 1/2" and 175-pound Flott had a vertical jump of 34 inches and a broad jump of 122 inches at his personal Pro Day.
DE Zachary Carter, Florida
Carter registered 31 tackles, 11.5 tackles for a loss, 7.5 sacks, two passes defensed, and a forced fumble through 12 game appearances as a senior in 2021. He recorded 102 tackles, 26 tackles for a loss, 17 sacks, eight passes defensed, and two forced fumbles through his four collegiate seasons.
"[Carter is] a little like former and current 49ers Ronnie Blair and Hyder — a base-down end who also could play inside on obvious passing downs," wrote Barrows. "Kocurek loves those types of players."
At the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6' 4 1/4" and 282-pound Carter had a 40-time of 4.99 seconds, a vertical jump of 27.5 inches, a broad jump of 110 inches, and 19 reps in the bench press. Carter's other measurables include an arm length of 33 1/2 inches and hands measuring 10 1/4 inches.
WR Tay Martin, Oklahoma State
"Martin's a bit like former 49ers receiver Kendrick Bourne — tall and lanky and more quick than fast," wrote Barrows. "Bourne joined the 49ers as an undrafted rookie in 2017 following a 1,201 receiver-yard season at Eastern Washington. Martin led Oklahoma State last season with 1,046 yards."
Other Meetings
Barrows didn't stop there. He revealed that the 49ers had a virtual meeting with South Carolina defensive end Kingsley Enagbare and tight ends coach Brian Fleury had a Zoom meeting with University of Tennessee-Martin tight end Rodney Williams.
