The Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals formally requested permission to interview San Francisco 49ers assistant general manager Adam Peters for their general manager vacancies. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Peters has turned both teams down.
"While Peters has great respect for those organizations, his focus is on supporting the 49ers during their playoff run," wrote Rapoport via a tweet.

Most figured Peters to be a hot name in upcoming general manager searches. The 49ers executive was a hot name last offseason, with teams like the New York Giants and Chicago Bears expressing interest.
Peters began his career as a member of the New England Patriots' scouting department, serving as a pro scout and an area scout over his six-year experience. Peters then moved to the Denver Broncos, where he spent the next eight years, elevating through the ranks as a scout before becoming their director of college scouting in 2016.
Peters has been with the 49ers since 2017, originally serving as their VP of player personnel before being promoted to assistant general manager in 2021.
