Radio broadcasters Plummer and Starkey are saying that tight end Vernon Davis left the field on his own which contradicts television reports that Mike Singletary told him to leave.
Reports speculate that Davis could face a suspension because of his actions.
Update:
After the game, during the postgame press conference, Singletary said that he told Davis that he was better off leaving the field, showering, and coming back and watching than being out on the field.
