George Kittle was on hand for Saturday night's WWE WrestleMania 39, and not just as a spectator. The San Francisco 49ers tight end got in on the action, joining NFL punter turned media personality Pat McAfee against Mike "The Miz" Mizanin.
It's no secret that Kittle is a big wrestling and WWE fan, and it looked like the SoFi Stadium crowd enjoyed seeing the 49ers star's cameo.
In February, TMZ asked Kittle if he could envision transitioning from the NFL to wrestling one day.
"The 49ers star didn't mince many words when the topic was brought up out in Arizona earlier this month," wrote TMZ. "... saying he believes he's got the personality to smoothly jump from the NFL to the wrestling world if and when the time comes."
"Sounds fun!" Kittle told TMZ when asked about the possibility.
San Francisco made Kittle (6-4, 250) a fifth-round selection (No. 146 overall) out of Iowa in 2017. The 29-year-old player has caught 395 passes for 5,254 yards and 31 touchdowns in 82 game appearances (74 starts) through his six NFL seasons.
The tight end is a four-time Pro Bowl selection, with his latest selection coming this past season.
