According to Jordan Schultz of The Score, the San Francisco 49ers are working out XFL wide receiver Jahcour Pearson. The team is holding its second and last practice of a mandatory minicamp on Wednesday.
#49ers are working out #XFL star WR Jahcour Pearson for the second time, source tells @theScore. Pearson finished the regular season with a league-leading 60 receptions for 670 yards and 4 TDs.
Pearson played at Ole Miss in 2021 after transferring from Western Kentucky. He caught 26 passes for 392 receiving yards through 10 games with the Rebels in 2021. The receiver's best collegiate season came in 2019 when he hauled in 76 receptions for 804 yards and seven touchdowns.
The Sea Dragons made Pearson the No. 27 overall pick in the 2023 XFL Draft in November.
