The San Francisco 49ers are hosting the Dallas Cowboys at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, in a much-anticipated Week 5 battle between NFC powerhouses. The Niners took the field without running back Elijah Mitchell, who continues to recover from a knee injury sustained during a practice on September 28.
Below are the 49ers-related in-game injury updates.
G Aaron Banks (biceps, questionable)
Guard Aaron Banks exited the game at the start of the third quarter with a biceps injury. He is questionable to return. Jon Feliciano, who spent this past week in the concussion protocol, replaced Banks.
Speaking after the game, Kyle Shanahan was asked about the severity of the injury.
"We don't know yet," the head coach responded. "Fortunately, it was a higher one. The low ones are the ones you miss the year for, but we don't know if it was strained or pulled yet."
