Williams played through his injury against the Browns but subsequently had to sit out the last two games. With San Francisco currently riding a three-game losing streak, the team hopes Williams' potential return will bolster their chances against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday.
The 49ers will release their official participation report after practice. That's when we'll learn the extent of Williams' workload during the Thursday afternoon session.
