In a nod to nostalgia, the San Francisco 49ers will don their iconic throwback jerseys for Thursday night's Thanksgiving clash against the Seattle Seahawks. This classic uniform was last seen in action on September 21 against the New York Giants, but notably, that game featured the home version of the throwback attire.
The upcoming Week 12 NFC West showdown will take place at Lumen Field, where the 49ers last showcased the road editions of these throwback jerseys during the regular-season meeting with the Seahawks on December 15, 2022.

The throwback jerseys pay homage to the uniforms worn by the 1994 team during its memorable Super Bowl run. Those jerseys were actually a modernized version of the uniforms the Niners wore in 1955.
The 49ers will wear their throwbacks one more time this season, during their Christmas Day matchup against the Baltimore Ravens at Levi's Stadium.
Former San Francisco 49ers tight end Eric Saubert is joining a division rival. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Saubert is signing with the Seattle Seahawks.
