The NFL has levied fines against the players involved in last weekend's altercation between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks. Following Fred Warner's interception of a Drew Lock pass, tensions flared between the linebacker and Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf. 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir also got involved, leading to Metcalf and Lenoir being ejected from the game.

According to NBC Sports Bay Area, the NFL imposed fines of $5,617 on Lenoir and $10,927 on Warner. The most substantial penalty resulting from the Week 14 incident was handed down to Metcalf, who received a fine of $19,123.
"I feel bad about that," Lenoir admitted this week. "I only hurt the team, so I felt like it was kind of a dumb mistake by me."
Fortunately for the 49ers, the incident occurred late in the game, well after the victory had already been secured. After the shoving began, Lenoir was attempting to support his teammate, Warner.
"I got a lot of respect for Fred," Lenoir said. "I know he's not the troublemaker. He loves football, too, just like everybody on this team. But I just seen him (Metcalf) going after Fred, so I just wanted to help my teammate."
Head coach Kyle Shanahan appreciates the passion displayed on the football field but never wants to see his players go too far.
"That's a line you can't cross," Shanahan stressed. "That's something our team takes a lot of pride in. Our team, we feel we are as physical as you can be, but we don't think that's something we ever do. So that was disappointing with him. He knew it. Our team knows it. But that's never the goal. If you get a penalty, you're wrong. If you get ejected, you're twice as wrong."
