The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 16 contest against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Jauan Jennings remains in the concussion protocol and missed his second consecutive practice. When asked about the wide receiver on Thursday, head coach Kyle Shanahan didn't wish to provide any information other than, "He's in the protocol."

Jennings' status is certainly one to monitor as the 49ers head into the weekend.

Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave returned to practice after missing this past weekend's game against the Arizona Cardinals. That's good news for a 49ers defensive front tasked with containing MVP candidate Lamar Jackson on Monday night.

"Definitely encouraged, but it's still a wait-and-see kind of thing," defensive coordinator Steve Wilks said of Hargrave's status. "But I'm definitely encouraged by what I saw today."

Additionally, running back Elijah Mitchell returned to practice. He has been inactive for the last two games due to a knee injury.

Still missing is defensive tackle Arik Armstead, who is struggling with foot and knee injuries. Tight end Ross Dwelley and linebacker Oren Burks also continue to miss practice.

"Armstead's a little bit more of a long shot, but we're going to wait to see," Shanahan said Friday on Bay Area radio station KNBR.

Below are Friday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Ravens, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
