The San Francisco 49ers are hosting the Green Bay Packers in a Divisional Playoff contest at Levi's Stadium.
The 49ers entered the game without defensive end Clelin Ferrell, who was placed on injured reserve due to a knee injury, ending his season. Aside from that, the team entered the playoff game in relatively good health.
Below are the 49ers-related in-game injury updates.
WR Deebo Samuel (head, questionable-returned)
Deebo Samuel remained down on the field after a nine-yard catch and run on the 49ers' opening drive and was tackled by Packers linebacker Quay Walker. Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander's helmet impacted Samuel's on the play. The receiver was able to walk off the field and headed to the medical tent for evaluation.

WR Deebo Samuel again (shoulder, out)
Later, Samuel left for the locker room to be evaluated for a shoulder injury. He returned to the sideline but did not return to the game when the offense took the field again in the second quarter.
