The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Super Bowl contest against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, February 11, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Tight end George Kittle and defensive tackle Arik Armstead missed their second consecutive practice. Kittle is grappling with a toe injury, while Armstead continues to be troubled by foot and knee issues.
Addressing reporters on Thursday, head coach Kyle Shanahan didn't sound overly concerned about Kittle's setback but chose not to disclose specific details about the injury.
Tackle Trent Williams, who had a rest day on Thursday, returned to the practice field.
I did not see DT Arik Armstead (knee, foot) or TE Kittle (toe) at the start of today's rainy #49ers practice. LT Trent Williams was back after taking his customary vet day on Thursday.
