Super Bowl 58: 49ers announce 7 inactive players vs. Chiefs

The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Super Bowl 58 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. These seven players will not suit up for the game.

Inactives:

Defensive tackle Kalia Davis (ankle) was initially declared "questionable" for the game but was downgraded to "out" on Saturday. He was never activated from the injured reserve list.

On Saturday, the 49ers elevated defensive linemen Alex Barrett and T.Y. McGill from the practice squad. However, neither is active.

The following six Chiefs players are inactive:

  • CB Ekow Boye-Doe
  • LB Darius Harris
  • RB La'Mical Perine
  • WR Justyn Ross
  • DE BJ Thompson
  • WR Kadarius Toney
