The Athletic's Dianna Russini reports that the Washington Commanders are expected to sign San Francisco 49ers defensive end Clelin Ferrell. The move for the unrestricted free agent can become official on Wednesday, at the start of the new league year.
2019 first round pick Clelin Ferrell is expected to sign with the Commanders, per sources.

He registered 28 tackles, six tackles for a loss, 13 quarterback hits, 3.5 sacks, a pass defensed, and a forced fumble while starting every game for the 49ers last season, per Pro Football Reference.
