San Francisco recently agreed to terms on two-year deals with defensive ends Leonard Floyd and Yetur Gross-Matos, bolstering its pass rush. However, after losing Clelin Ferrell in free agency and facing the likelihood of Chase Young playing elsewhere in 2024, the team appears keen on adding more explosiveness along the edges through the draft.
Kneeland registered 57 tackles, including 7.5 for a loss, 4.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 10 game appearances with Western Michigan as a senior in 2023, per Sports Reference.
Over his four seasons with the Broncos, Kneeland compiled 149 tackles, including 28 for a loss, 12.5 sacks, three passes defensed, and three forced fumbles across 37 games.
At the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6'3" and 267-pound Kneeland posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.75 seconds, a vertical jump of 35.5 inches, a broad jump of nine feet, 11 inches, a 7.02-second three-cone drill time, 21 reps in the bench press, and a 20-yard shuttle time of 4.18 seconds.
Hill registered 147 tackles, including five for a loss, two sacks, 13 passes defensed, and four forced fumbles throughout his collegiate career with the Ducks, per Sports Reference.
