According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, the San Francisco 49ers are set to host former Penn State offensive tackle Caedan Wallace for one-draft visits of their 30 pre.

"I had a bunch of meetings leading up to Pro Day," Wallace told Melo. "I have about five or six 30 visits, I believe. I'm meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs, Colts, Commanders, 49ers, and Patriots. There are a few more on my schedule. It's a loaded schedule. We're still sorting through our schedule. I'm excited to visit these facilities and meet with different coaches. I'm excited to start understanding what the league is all about."

Last season, Wallace achieved a career-high 72.8 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus, allowing 13 pressures and a sack in 359 pass-blocking snaps. His 67.1 run-blocking grade and 68.8 overall grade were his best marks since 2019.

"Wallace played tackle in college but could be considered as a tackle or guard by NFL evaluators," Lance Zierlein wrote in the player's NFL.com scouting report. "He's broad across his upper and lower body and has decent length and big hands. He's a clock-puncher who plays with better fundamentals and technique than his highly regarded teammate, Olumuyiwa Fashanu. Wallace won't flash as often as a run blocker and he might be somewhat capped out in terms of what he's going to be as a tackle. Wallace has NFL size and good body control and should find work as a backup with the potential to start as a guard or tackle."

During the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6' 4 7/8" and 314-pound Wallace posted impressive metrics, including a 40-yard dash time of 5.15 seconds, a vertical jump of 31 inches, and a broad jump of 9 feet, 8 inches.

Reflecting on his performance at the Combine, Wallace told Melo, "I think I had a good day. I was able to showcase my movement skills. I was very explosive in the broad jump. It felt very rewarding to back up what I showed everybody on tape."

Wallace added, "I think I'm going to turn heads at the next level."
