The San Francisco 49ers were well-represented at the San Francisco Giants' home opener at Oracle Park on Friday against the San Diego Padres. Linebacker Fred Warner, wide receiver Deebo Samuel, and punter Mitch Wishnowsky participated in the pre-game ceremonies.
Warner and Samuel had the honor of throwing out the first pitches while wearing Giants jerseys to show their support for the hometown baseball team.
Today's game against the Padres marks the start of a three-game series. The Padres enter the game with a 4-5 record. The Giants come in with a 2-5 record, having most recently been swept by their NL West rivals, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
