The San Francisco 49ers kicked off organized team activities (OTAs) this week. The first practice open to the media is this afternoon and will feature several new faces.
In addition to its rookie class, San Francisco brought in several free agents this offseason. Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports the jersey numbers for those newcomers as the team gets set to hit the practice field:
Additionally, wide receiver Deebo Samuel has changed his jersey number from 19 to 1, which was previously reported. Punter Mitch Wishnowsky is switching from No. 18 to No. 3.
The Tuesday practice is the only one this week open to reporters. Head Coach Kyle Shanahan is scheduled to speak to the media after the session, while much of his coaching staff will address reporters tomorrow.
