Brock Purdy has proven a lot in his short NFL career. In one-and-a-half seasons, the quarterback has helped deliver the San Francisco 49ers to two NFC Championship Games and a Super Bowl. He set a single-season franchise record by throwing for 4,280 passing yards in his sophomore NFL campaign, led all quarterbacks with a 113.0 passer rating, and earned his first Pro Bowl selection.

None of those accomplishments were enough to convince those around the league that Purdy deserved to be considered a top-10 quarterback. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler surveyed nearly 80 league executives, coaches, and scouts to compile his annual ranking, and Purdy's name was noticeably absent from the top 10. However, he did receive an "honorable mention."

"He's very good at navigating the pocket, buying time, using his legs -- you're not going to win because of him in most cases," an NFC executive told Fowler. "He's a really good system quarterback."

One quarterback who did make the top 10—barely—was Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys. FS1 host and Cowboys superfan Skip Bayless takes exception to that ranking.

"Right here, right now, I will take Brock Purdy over Dak Prescott," a frustrated Bayless declared on "Undisputed."

The television personality added that he would take another quarterback who received an honorable mention, Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers, over Prescott, who wins a lot of regular-season games but regularly falls short in the postseason.

"It's hard to call him top 10 based on the guys ahead of him, but it's hard to keep him out of the top 10, too," an NFC executive told Fowler. "He willed that team to the Super Bowl. Only right to give him serious consideration."

Bayless has no problem ranking Purdy above Prescott, who came in at No. 10 on ESPN's list.

"It's called intangibles," Bayless continued. "Does Dak have a little better arm than Brock Purdy? I don't know. They're about the same to me. Maybe I'll give you a touch, Dak, just a touch better. Brock Purdy can move around. I think he moves better than Dak does. And yet, intangibles, when it's time to make the throw that wins the game, I'll take Brock Purdy."

Purdy is 4-2 in the playoffs over his career. Prescott is 2-5 in postseason action.
