NFL teams can officially sign players to their practice squads starting Wednesday at 9 a.m. PT, which is also the deadline for claiming players off waivers. Each team is allowed to establish a practice squad of 17 eligible players, including one international player eligible for a practice squad exemption. Without the exemption, the limit is 16 players. Practice squad members may sign with other teams only if they are being added to a 53-man roster.
