Brock Purdy had reason to celebrate on Saturday after his Iowa State Cyclones edged out the Iowa Hawkeyes, 20-19. However, his San Francisco 49ers teammate, former Iowa tight end George Kittle, wasn't nearly as thrilled about the outcome.

When Purdy reached out about winning their friendly wager, Kittle responded jokingly, "Thank you, Brock. You ruined my whole week."
The two have made it a tradition to place bets on the games between their two schools. Last year, Kittle won, forcing Purdy to attend a press conference wearing this:

This year, the tables turned. On Wednesday, Kittle honored the bet by speaking with reporters wearing Purdy's old Iowa State helmet. He humorously pointed out that the helmet was too small and smelled bad.
Had Iowa won, Purdy would have been wearing Kittle's old Hawkeyes helmet.
