The San Francisco 49ers have signed linebacker Jalen Graham, their 2023 seventh-round draft pick, to a one-year deal. Graham was a member of the Washington Commanders' practice squad.
The 49ers Communications staff provided the following rundown.
Graham (6-3, 220) was originally drafted by the 49ers in the seventh round (255th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft. Throughout his career, he has appeared in four games and registered one tackle on special teams. Graham was waived by the team on August 27, 2024, and signed to the Washington Commanders practice squad on August 28.
A 24-year-old native of Detroit, MI, Graham attended Purdue University (2019-22), where he appeared in 38 games (35 starts) and registered 169 tackles, 16 passes defensed, 12.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 2.0 sacks.
