The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 6 contest against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. Tuesday marked the 49ers' only full practice of the week, though head coach Kyle Shanahan noted it would be a light session due to the short week of preparation, given that the team played just two days ago.

The 49ers will conduct a walk-through on Wednesday, as they traditionally do the day before a game. However, as usual, it will be closed to the media.

Talanoa Hufanga will miss time

The significant injury news from Santa Clara on Tuesday was that safety Talanoa Hufanga suffered torn ligaments in his wrist during Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals, making him a candidate for injured reserve.

"It will be at least a month, probably longer," Shanahan stated.

Jake Moody update

Kicker Jake Moody is also a potential candidate for injured reserve after sustaining a high-ankle sprain against the Cardinals. While the 49ers are uncertain about the length of his recovery, Shanahan speculated it could be about a month, suggesting an injured reserve stint might be likely.

All-Pros limited

A trio of All-Pros were limited on Tuesday. Cornerback Charvarius Ward is managing a knee bruise from the Cardinals game. Tight end George Kittle is still recovering from a rib injury, and linebacker Fred Warner is dealing with an ankle injury. Both injuries initially occurred in Week 4 against the New England Patriots, yet both players were able to suit up against the Cardinals on Sunday.

Below are Tuesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Seahawks, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
