Pro Football Focus announced its midseason All-Pro team last week, with two San Francisco 49ers making the cut. Tight end George Kittle earned a starting spot on offense, while Fred Warner was named one of the two starting linebackers on defense.

Kittle is on pace for his fourth 1,000-yard season, with 40 receptions for 503 yards and six touchdowns through seven games. He's coming off an impressive six-catch performance against the Dallas Cowboys, where he tallied a season-high 128 yards and a touchdown.

"Kittle's big performance on Sunday Night Football in Week 8 to help the 49ers defeat the Dallas Cowboys vaulted him into the All-Pro tight end spot and into first place in PFF overall grade this season," wrote analyst Gordon McGuinness. "He is averaging 2.49 yards per route run and has found the end zone six times through eight weeks."

Kittle's 88.5 offensive grade this season, which leads all NFL tight ends, is his highest since 2021 (90.7).

Warner, who has never recorded fewer than 118 tackles in a season, is on track to surpass that again. The star linebacker has logged 66 tackles, three tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, two interceptions, a touchdown, and a sack through eight games.

"The only linebacker with a PFF overall grade above 90.0 so far this season, Warner is a Defensive Player of the Year contender," McGuinness noted. "He has forced four fumbles, recorded three pass breakups and come away with a pair of interceptions in just eight games."

Warner's 91.6 defensive grade this season is a career-high, and his 91.8 coverage grade leads all NFL players—not just linebackers.

The 49ers are coming off their bye week and will return to practice on Monday to prepare for their Week 10 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
