The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 12 contest against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Quarterback Brock Purdy was a limited practice participant on Wednesday and did not throw any passes during the media-accessible portion of the session. He appeared to be going through the motions, though, mentally preparing for Sunday's game.

Purdy suffered a right shoulder injury during the 49ers' loss to the Seattle Seahawks and reported soreness when he arrived at the facility on Monday.

Tight end George Kittle, who missed Sunday's game due to a hamstring injury, was also a limited participant. Kittle was confident when asked about his availability for the Packers game, saying, "I will be playing on Sunday. Very excited. Can't pass up playing the Packers. So, no, I will be out there, for sure. Get to practice today—it'll be very fun and exciting."

Left tackle Trent Williams played through an ankle injury on Sunday and sat out the first practice of the week, as he often does. Also absent from practice were running back Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) and defensive end Nick Bosa (hip/oblique). McCaffrey is expected to return to practice on Thursday, while Bosa's status remains uncertain.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan offered a noncommittal update on Bosa, stating, "He definitely could be good for Sunday, and he definitely could not be good for Sunday, so that's why I don't think about it yet."

Below are Wednesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Packers, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
