Injury Notes

With Trent Williams and Jaylon Moore on injured reserve and several others ruled out for Monday night's game against the Detroit Lions, quarterback Brock Purdy may find himself working behind a patched-together offensive line. It presents a significant challenge for a playoff-eliminated 49ers team aiming to pull off an upset victory.

Neither right tackle Colton McKivitz nor offensive lineman Spencer Burford practiced on Saturday. While McKivitz was limited on Thursday, he has missed the last two practices entirely due to a knee injury. He is questionable to play.

Burford, on the other hand, hasn't practiced all week after suffering a calf injury against the Miami Dolphins and has been ruled out against the Lions.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan acknowledged that left guard Aaron Banks would be placed on injured reserve ahead of Monday night's game.

Shanahan previously confirmed that linebacker Dre Greenlaw would not play again this season, so his inclusion on the list of those ruled out comes as no surprise.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that running back Isaac Guerendo is expected to play on Monday night. Shanahan confirmed that the rookie is full-go.

Fullback Kyle Juszczyk returned to practice on Saturday after missing Friday's session due to an illness.

Below are Saturday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Lions, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
