According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, former San Diego Chargers starting cornerback Shareece Wright is visiting with the San Francisco 49ers today. There is said to be a lot of interest on both sides.
Wright was drafted by the Chargers in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He has 123 tackles and an interception during his time in San Diego.
He became a starter for the Chargers in 2013. In 2014, he played 14 games, recording 60 total tackles, (54 Solo), and 10 passes defended.
The 49ers have lost starting cornerback Chris Culliver, who signed a 4-year, $32 million deal with Washington today. Their other 2014 starter, free agent Perrish Cox, is still visiting with other teams.
