49ers, Raiders interested in WR Marc Mariani

Both the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders are interested in Chicago Bears WR Marc Mariani, per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.

Mariani is a punt returner/wide receiver who was drafted out of Montana by the Tennessee Titans in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He was selected to the Pro Bowl during his rookie season. Mariani was with Chicago over the past two seasons.

As a receiver, he has had 27 catches for 324 yards. He has 4,246 return yards and three touchdowns as a returner, averaging 25 yards per return on kickoffs and 9.5 on punts. Two of his touchdowns came on punt returns.
