Nice. If he had fallen a little bit, I would have entertained the idea of trading up for him. Will be the best Wr in the league by the beginning of 2011 season IMO.

Not until he gets an elite QB throwing to him, he won't.

Not one WR has ever led the NFL in fantasy points without an elite quarterback throwing to him.

CJ finished no. 3 in all of Wrs with the settings of our leagues. Who were his QBs last year? Players like JTO and Rattay. Also, I meant - he will be the best WR in the league (not this fantasy league, but in NFL) by 2011.
Ill be makin my pick in the next 30 minutes...I am looking towards trading the pick if anyone wants it...if not, let me enjoy my scrambled eggs and I shall make my pick...

And I swear to God Pete...I am going to s**t all of your fantasy team this year and your beloved guitar with these ferrets and sundial nonsense you are directing towards me...freaking musicians...think their so special...

Wow, I think the last few picks have been all great calls. Good job guys. Drew Brees was a fantastic pick. Randy Moss as well.

Brandon Jacobs is a good pick as well. With no WR to throw to, Giants may be running a lot more. There are couple issues with Jacobs though: Injuries and catches.

No Plaxico = the Giants using the ground game more

But that also means Jacobs will take more beating. They lost Derrick Ward but do still have Bradshaw. Jacobs' body seems to have a lot of wear and tear. But for the games he is in, he will give you some good numbers.

The dude is massive. I'm not worried about that. He can take a full football season. Now as for keeping him? That may affect it, yes. Just like Gore with us, everyone says he takes so much wear and tear..but he keeps putting up monster numbers. And thats all that matters, IMO.

Except, he hasn't been able to. Missed 8 games in last two seasons - that's 1 game in every 4 games. Not to mention, he is nicked up pretty good in the games he has played as well.

With no-one to cover in the passing game, 8 men in the box consistently.

Not like its ever been any different w/ him? It works that way w/ any big RB..or any GOOD RB.

8 men in the box or not, I see his carries going up w/o Plaxico.

Not true at all. Several good RBs have stayed consistently healthy. You don't put up 1300 yards year after year unless you play 15-16 games every year. This is why, Jacobs will hover around 1000-1100 yards because he will miss 3-4 games a season. Where he makes up for it is, TDs - but without passing game - that should drop as well this year (fewer snaps at goal-line).

I'm not denying his carries going up. But, I don't think it will result in more fantasy points. Anyway, it is a good pick. Not knocking on your pick, we are just talkin' about concerns with Jacobs.

If I get my 1000-1100 out of my second round pick, I'll be fine.
Yeah, well I'm sure that the 3 hours that you take deciding whether you want to actually take the s**t, hold it in, or s**t on someone else will give me plenty of time to escape.

Yeup. That's why I said, he was a good pick where you got him. I like 1-2 other RBs a little better that are available, but Jacobs in 2nd round is not a bad haul.
Things that move faster than GameOver...

1000 rushing yards for your 2nd round pick is setting the bar low.
Alright, give me the Anti-Christ...

is there a trade coming?

nevermind...solid pick. Peyton is going to get drafted soon now

6thring is up
I think Calvin and Brady were a bit of a reach. 50/50 those 2 would have fell to their owners on their next picks. A stud WR with few opportunities and a legendary QB who missed an entire season.

It takes nerve to play FF
Im looking towards trading down on my next upcoming pick as well...I believe its the 31st...let me know if anyones interested yo...

This is a keeper league though. Calvin was a solid pick.

I think people are drafting QB's too early though.
