damnitt Red.....she took Colston.

I was debating between Colston and Boldin. Both have some injury issues. Both are really good at YAC though Boldin is better. Colston has the better hands. But my deciding factor came down to their QB. I don't think Warner is going to play more than 1 year and Warner looks a bit fragile sometimes and if he goes down it will be god forbid Lienert or worse St. Pierre. Whereas Colston has Brees who will be playing another 5+ years and Brees is one hell of a QB.

You made a great pick in White too. I was considering him too before you took him even though he is holding out because from the looks of it, he will have one hell of a QB throwing to him for years to come.

I am guessing you were hoping for him with the 33rd?

I looked at all three (Roddy White, Boldin, and Colston). Honestly, all three of them are pretty equal in my opinion. I think the only thing that made me go for Roddy White was, he hasn't missed a game in NFL.

I had one common concern for all three of them. Too many weapons on each team. With Gonzalez coming in, it may help or hurt Roddy. No way to know till we actually see them play. Turner is a beast of a RB and Jenkins is improving. Same with Colston and Boldin. Meachem is finally showing flashes, and Lance Moore had a terrific season last year. Shockey is in the mix as well.

You're right on the target with Boldin. Warner has been 1-hit away from retirement for the last couple years. Both Roddy White and Boldin are unhappy with their contract situation, though I think Roddy has handled it much better. I feel confident that he will show up sooner rather than later.

It's kinda funny though, I was pretty damn close to drafting each of the players you selected in the first three rounds. I went with Forte because of catches and age, but Turner scores ridiculous amounts of TDs.

Yes I was...was hoping my 2 RB strategy with my first two picks would pay off with Colston and or Roddy at 33.

Plenty of good Wrs left. Boldin is there, someone mentioned TO already. Plus you got Drew and MBIII - they equal a WR themselves.

Too many weapons on each team.

This is a good thing. Fitz and Boldin help each other for instance, because then defenses double them less because they have to worry about the other.

On that same note, a lot of people who think that Jason Witten is going to have a career year now that he's going to get MOST of Romo's targets are going to be disappointed when Witten sees safeties over the top almost every play. TO made Witten's life easier.

As far as Boldin and Colston are concerned. I would have taken Boldin but it's close either way.

I thought Forte was going to be mine though I knew it was going to be between Turner and Forte. Forte is enticing because he is a good receiver out of the backfield and this is a PPR league and as you've also said, he's younger. But I can't complain with Turner. Turner will give me the better chance at getting those 5 pts bonuses for getting over 150 yds than Forte. As others have noted, Turner didn't carry a full load the first 4 years of his career as the big bulk of it went to LT so Turner still has a lot left in his tank and he is built to last! That man is freaking huge.

Though I agree with your over-all point, it really depends on each situation. Like in Gonzalez's case, he is great in red-zone. So, now Matt Ryan will likely look at Gonzo as his no.1 target in the redzone instead of White. On the other hand, Roddy White may get open on deep routes and make some big plays because of safety cover as you mentioned.

Witten on the other hand will be more than fine. I think Roy Williams is a solid no. 2 WR in the league, and with Crayton, Felix Jones and MBIII - they are enough threats in the passing game. Their OC is a pretty creative guy too, he will get the ball in Witten's hands. I expect a lot of play-action passes from Romo to Witten.

I think the creativity of Jason Garrett is very overrated.

The Cowboys are going to find out the hard way this season just how valuable Terrell Owens was for their passing offense. I love their running game though.

Now that Earth Wind and Fire was broken up in New York, Smash, Dash & Tash is the best trio in the league.

I honestly think Turners thighs are bigger than my waist. You are right, age is not really an issue with Turner. I think adding Gonzalez gives Turner the biggest advantage.

You want to know something crazy

Michael Turner (27)
Clinton Portis (28)

It's crazy that Portis is only 28.

Well, I hope you are right. I can't believe they let go of TO though, and they paid through their nose on the Roy Williams trade. Jerry Jones is the next Al Davis

I worked the Atlanta locker room when they came to Oakland. I can't even begin to tell you what Turner looks like in his skivvies. The top half of his body looks like it doesn't match the bottom. He's short, yoked, and extremely bottom heavy. He almost doesn't look like a normal human being.

If I were a CB trying to tackle Turner, I honestly will just go for ankles and hope for the best. Just try to trip him up somehow. Or just throw my back to his ankles, if he jumps over me, then too bad.

I played CB in high school, and there was this RB who was much bigger than me. Every time I or any of my team-mates tackled him, I'll open up his laces in the pile. He would go to the sidelines to lace 'em up and often sit out a play.

I wonder if there is fine for doing that in NFL.
