Yeah, I couldn't believe it either when I looked at his yahoo page. Most guys are 22 or 23 by the time they make it to the NFL. This means Portis was probably 21 when he came out.

Career-wise Portis is undervalued. Almost four years of 1500 rushing yards and 72 total touchdowns at age 28.

Gettin' traded for a shut-down CB might be the reason for it. Plus, ESPN's fascination with 'Boys and Eagles may be another reason.

Not a bad pick. There were couple other RBs that I liked better, but in PPR he is a solid pick.

He was the third person I was considering with my pick. He had almost 1000 yds and 8 TDs and 39 catches for the 0-16 lions. That is pretty good. Good pick.
