I think he tries to work out trades every time he's on the clock.

Were you expecting every single pick to be made the second it was up? This is a WZ post draft. That's why we do it like this. The season doesn't start for another month.

Stoney, He knew that last night the draft ended with him....It has been quite a long time and he knows he is on the clock, I am expecting everyone to realize that they should know that their pick is up. I have s**t to do too, yet I make my picks, to not slow s**t down.

You want to draft really badly don't you Donovan ![](/forum/images/smileys/laugh.gif)

Nah, I see what you're saying.
But the length of this draft, as troublesome as it may be, it's a sacrifice we have to make. So that everybody can field a competitive team with players that they want.

You should just trade up if you want Phillip Rivers that badly

LOL. While I do think what's going on is a little inconsiderate, there's nothing worse in fantasy than having a team that's drafted for you by the computer. I'm interested to see how the WZ draft goes, cuz methinks that it's gonna be hard getting 12 people around a computer at 6pm on a Saturday night.
This is a pain in the ass, but it's way better than the alternative, ESPECIALLY in a keeper league.

Well if he wants him, that's what he's gonna need to do....

my take on Steve Smith. He is short. That is why I have stayed away from him the last couple of seasons and will continue to do so.
Short WR's are rarely going to make an impact..Steve Smith represents the exception to the rule. But how long can he keep that up? At that height he expends so much more energy then the other elite WR's.
I am fine with him proving me wrong...in the long run staying away from short receivers is just a general rule of mine

Believe it or not, we're actually going faster right now than the NBA draft went last year.
NBA
1st pick Sep 19, 2008 at 20:35:46
30th pick Sep 24, 2008 at 22:14:24
NFL
1st pick Aug 4, 2009 at 18:26:28
30th pick Aug 8, 2009 at 01:02:55
The 4th and 5th rounds in the NBA draft though went by REALLY quickly.

I will say one thing though, if Steve Smith was 6-3, he'd be the greatest receiver in NFL history.
