Deal rejectedOriginally posted by krizay:Originally posted by JoseCortez:Somebody wants Justin Jefferson and is willing to send me Michael Thomas??? how bad is is his hamstring?
As a guy with Jefferson and wanting Thomas i wouldn't do that deal
Too much stink down there for me....
1st He attacks Brees for offseason comments
2nd hurts ankle
3rd able to play but throws punch at teammate
4th Hamstring
Don't own him so never dove into it but is it a legitimate Hamstring or one of them I'm fed up with this team Hamstrings.

Id do hasty. And hope for lightning in a bottle.
I feel Wilson would be TD dependent. Id rather go for the BOOM with Hasty while understanding he may not do a damn thing

Just picked up Hasty.
Earlier this week someone offered me Godwin and Fournette for Mostert and Slayton in a trade, and I rejected it. Hope it doesn't come back to bite me.

I may have as well depending on strength of my team.
If i need RB more i woulda kept. Mostert/Slayton if i needed WR more Godwin/Fournette.
If all things were equal id rather Mostert and Slayton. Fournette is name only. Godwin with Brady isnt that much better than Slayton to give up Mostert if your roster is somewhat balanced

At the time the trade came in, Mostert was just out for this week, so I had hope he'd be back next week. And fournette wasnt even a factor.
Godwin was the prize for me since Slayton is so hit or miss.
If I knew IR was in the cards for Mostert I would've pulled the trigger

Slayton has an occasional deep catch but with Shepard back he wont be much at all. We saw that on Thursday night. Godwin is a great WR who simply hasnt been healthy to start the season but did have 20 targets in the 3 games he did play. There is a reason he was drafted in the 2nd round in most leagues.

And that reason was the season he had with Jameis last year. Yes he's been hurt but Bucs not throwing or playing from behind like they did lasy year.
Yes Godwin is a better real life player but this years Bucs team isnt chucking the ball all over the fiekd like they had to last year

As for not chucking the ball... well Tom is still throwing the ball 37 times per game on average. In a PPR league Godwin is still tremendous value. As for Slayton, he has had 3 catches or less in 5 of the 7 weeks this season. With Shepard back I dont see that really going up. Decent player but not even remotely in Godwins league whether we are talking real life or fantasy FB

13.6 FPG
12.2 FPG
How is that not remotely close? They both are averaging a shade under 7 targets a game.
You bring up Shepherd but where does AB figure in your Godwin numbers?

Brown will impact Evans more in my opinion. Godwin in the slot is still going to get the most targets. Godwin was a 2nd rd FF pick in most drafts. Slayton was a FA. Go look at ESPN, CBS, Fantasy Pros.... well any site and compare the rankings. Not close.

I think we're saying the same thing. Godwin is a step up from Slayton. Especially with the way the Giants offense is performing this year. but for my roster, Slayton + healthy Mostert is better that Godwin and Fournette. Fournette has pretty much become a non factor, so he'd be on my bench or dropped.

Where you are drafted has no bearings on how you are performing. Every site had Smith-schuster drafted well ahead of Justin Jefferson. You making that trade too?
Not worth debating about.
Good luck.
