I picked up Herbert a few weeks ago. I had to start him yesterday because Lamar Jackson was on a bye. Jackson hasn't balled out like he did last season. Should I keep Jackson as my starter or roll with Herbert?

I disagree. Herbert has been nothing but outstanding. Lamar is not the Lamar of last year. Just go look at their last 4 games scores. Until Herbert lays an egg I'd roll with him. Besides Lamar has Pitt this week. Herbert is @ Denver

Another Herbert question. I own Herbert and Russell Wilson. Assuming the consensus is trade Herbert, what kind of return would you guys be looking for?

Man that's a tough one. Being a 10 team league, it's hard to imagine many QB needy teams. And the available QBs in free agency is probably not terrible. I would think best case scenario would be Herbert for a mid to low range flex player from a QB needy team.

I have Wilson in one of my leagues and I can't think of a scenario where he'd be benched. Willow is a fantasy beast right now... now if you put Wilson on the trade block, and decided to roll with Herbert, I'd be curious to see what kind of offers you got for Wilson.

You are in my head and it is kinda spooky. Everything you said is what I have run through my head. Finding a partner is tough. Would you believe the team that is 7-0 is rolling with Cam and Goff? I tried to weaken him offering Herbert for DK Metcalf. After this past week he's probably kicking himself for not taking that deal but he still effing won!

The other thing I did was look at our playoffs. W 14.15.16.
Wilson:
W14: vs. NYJ (looks tasty but only if Wilson is chasing MVP at that point)
W15: @ Was (not ideal, cold cross country)
W16: vs. Rams (this game might matter and could be a great spot to have him in the FF Superbowl)
Herbert:
W14: vs. Atl (yes please)
W15: @ LV (beats a flight to Was)
W16: vs. Den (nice problem to have making that decision in the FFSB should I get there)

What this boils down to is I could gamble and put RW on the block and see what I get offered as you suggested. Pray the kid stays healthy, stream if not, and win with the assets from the RW trade. Or lay low and just play out the schedule (I'm 5-2 with 90+ more points scored than the top team). But I am a little thin and banged up. Aren't we all?
QB: RW, Herbert
WR: Nuk, Diggs, Deebo, Ruggs
RB: Kamara, Gaskin, Drake, Singletary, Hasty
TE: Andrews Gronk
D: Balt NE
I've got WW claims that would shed Drake, NE, Singledummy
Start 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 2 Flex (W/R/T) 1 D

I would try and trade RW for sure for a RB.

RW & Singletary for RB upgrade and a WR. Then I'd Drop Drake for a QB that pairs well with Herbert
