Man, had a rough draft just now in my main money league...pick 11 spot and the board consistently did not drop my way.
12 team PPR, 1QB 3WR 2RB 1TE 1Flex 5BN
1 AJ Brown (pretty surprised he was available...teams "reached" on JT and King Henry
2 Jahmyr Gibbs
3 Devonta Smith (didn't like getting 2 WR from same offense, but given league format, he was comfortably BPA in my rankings. I would have considered starting QB here, but Hurts picked one spot before me)
4 Malik Nabers
5 Calvin Ridley (missed on the next tier of QB and didn't want to reach. Target was Rashee, who went just before me)
6 Najee Harris
7 Jake Ferguson (didn't want to reach, but options were going bare, and didn't want a major disadvantage at both QB AND TE)
8 Jayden Daniels (don't like daniels at all, but at this point, need to prioritize the ceiling play)
9 Blake Corum (hate that his ADP pushed this high, but rather the contingent value than a guaranteed RB3. Young upside players at WR and RB are all gone)
10 Rashid Shaheed (start 4 WR, so it's thin at this point in the draft.)
11 Curtis Samuel (need someone tied to Josh Allen)
12 Trevor Lawrence (In case Daniels sucks major ass)
13 Jaylen Wright (wanted hockenson; sniped)
14 Houston
15 Tyler Bass
Not a sexy team, but if things go right, I'll be competitive thanks to a pathway for a strong starting 4 at WR and Flex. Shallow bench requires some upside plays, tho I needed to insulate the QB position since I had to go with a lower floor option.

Kupp is a given.
Deebo and Diggs a toss up. I would lean Deebo cause I'd want to see the target distribution in HOU 1st. Plus with no Trent Williams I can see a crap ton of quick stuff to Deebo. Especially against the Jets and while they wait for BA to get in "game shape"
That's how I'd play it

I just picked last in my 12 team league because I won it all last year (had CeeDee, Laporta, Deebo). I wanted AJ Brown with my first pick but here's how it went. I am not that confident. I was coaxed out of retirement with only a few days before the draft so I didn't have much time to prepare:
1. Garrett Wilson (Would have picked AJ. He had two straight 1,000 yd seasons with crappy QB play. Now he gets A-rod)
2. Kyren Williams (In hindsight I should have went Pacheco but stay healthy Kyren!)
3. Jalen Hurts (He'll always produce and now he has a new toy in Saquon to divert attention away from him)
4. Sam LaPorta (He's TE1 in many a book and he helped me win last year)
5. Tank Dell (I know he has to compete with Diggs and Collins and coming off a broken leg but he and Stroud had something special going last year)
6. Raheem Mostert (he's not going to score 21 tds again but I'd be happy with 10)
7. Christian Watson (They say he's 100% healthy now and that's going to make a difference. He has to compete for targets with Doubs, Reed, and Hicks though)
8. Tyjae Spears (Draft day mistake - I should have went Blake Corum because he was picked up in the 9th and he was on my list to pick then)
9. Caleb Williams (Just because)
10. Jameson Williams (slim pickins at this point with WR)
11. Trey Benson (RB stash pick)
12. Taysom Hill
13. Jaylen Wright (insurance for Mostert)
14. Evan McPherson
15. Chargers D/ST (get to welcome Minshew Mania to town in their first game)

I don't think this is too bad, depending on league format. I wanted to leave my first two rounds with 2 of Brown/Wilson/Nacua/Gibbs with MHJ as a last resort, so I like the wilson pick. Ive been gambling on Corum in all my leagues which is the only reason im not going Kyren, but i think thats a fine pick. Id have probably went WR, but i like him more than Pacheco. At the 12 spot, its good to have an advantage at TE and QB, since youre constantly picking at the bottom of the barrel in each tier for WR and RB, so you got your WR1 and RB1 (both with legitimate upside to be the top player at their position) and then built advantages elsewhere. La porta at the 3/4 turn is pretty good (appropriate) value. He went early 3rd in mine. I just wouldn't have doubled up at QB considering you went with one of the elite options.

Not sure how anyone is starting Daniels confidently. Trevor Lawrence would be my pick.

I think this week it will be a wash. I possibly would take the upside with Daniels legs. I actually love him for fantasy purposes.

Lawrence played pretty banged up throughout the year...he was expected to have a big year after a promising sophomore year, and totally disappointed. I have to expect a little bit of a bounce back, and at least vs MIA, we can expect a little bit of a shootout, and Miami I dont think has any healthy pass rushers..but then yea, I drafted Daniels over safer options for a chance at his running upside, and i feel if I had enough conviction to draft him, I should have enough conviction to start him.

Brown & Gibbs is a very nice haul for you, including Smith. On my way to the championship last season my toughest out in the playoffs was a matchup against a team that had Kyren, Nakua, and Kupp. I was struggling with Kyren/Gibbs/Pacheco. I guess I was a little scared of Gibbs because of his hammy and his time share with Montgomery, but I looked at another analysis of him after my original response to you, and dang...probably should have went with him.
Kyren returning punts and Blake, kicks, supposedly full-time(?) is going to be interesting. Yeah, I was actually going to bypass a top-tier QB and just settle with Caleb, but wanted a hopefully sure thing in Hurts with Caleb as a viable backup and potential trade option.
