I don't think this is too bad, depending on league format. I wanted to leave my first two rounds with 2 of Brown/Wilson/Nacua/Gibbs with MHJ as a last resort, so I like the wilson pick. Ive been gambling on Corum in all my leagues which is the only reason im not going Kyren, but i think thats a fine pick. Id have probably went WR, but i like him more than Pacheco. At the 12 spot, its good to have an advantage at TE and QB, since youre constantly picking at the bottom of the barrel in each tier for WR and RB, so you got your WR1 and RB1 (both with legitimate upside to be the top player at their position) and then built advantages elsewhere. La porta at the 3/4 turn is pretty good (appropriate) value. He went early 3rd in mine. I just wouldn't have doubled up at QB considering you went with one of the elite options.

Brown & Gibbs is a very nice haul for you, including Smith. On my way to the championship last season my toughest out in the playoffs was a matchup against a team that had Kyren, Nakua, and Kupp. I was struggling with Kyren/Gibbs/Pacheco. I guess I was a little scared of Gibbs because of his hammy and his time share with Montgomery, but I looked at another analysis of him after my original response to you, and dang...probably should have went with him.

Kyren returning punts and Blake, kicks, supposedly full-time(?) is going to be interesting. Yeah, I was actually going to bypass a top-tier QB and just settle with Caleb, but wanted a hopefully sure thing in Hurts with Caleb as a viable backup and potential trade option.

For me, one thing I've "learned" is to not "waste" roster spots hedging my bets. Play for first place - 2nd place is just the first loser. Some bets are better than others, but since so much luck is involved, drafting is just gambling. If I'm going to bet that Kyren is worth a top 10-15 pick, then i don't also want to use a draft pick betting that Kyren will get hurt making Corum a league winner.

Kyren being a top 3 RB is not a bad bet to make. I just decided I like the returns better on the gamble that he gets hurt. An early off season hammy injury definitely makes Gibbs a risky gamble also.

There is upside with Lawrence too. Weapons upgrade, he can run and Brian Thomas Jr gonna do some thangz

Thomes just replaces Ridley

Lawrence played pretty banged up throughout the year...he was expected to have a big year after a promising sophomore year, and totally disappointed. I have to expect a little bit of a bounce back, and at least vs MIA, we can expect a little bit of a shootout, and Miami I dont think has any healthy pass rushers..but then yea, I drafted Daniels over safer options for a chance at his running upside, and i feel if I had enough conviction to draft him, I should have enough conviction to start him.

Hope he started Daniels

On this day, it did not matter ):

I had a question for my sons fantasy football team. He is currently in a espn fantasy league. Is there a way to prevent having McCaffrey locked as a starter after he goes inactive at the last minute?

Is there a way to add backup. I just seen McCaffrey stayed as the starter and obviously earned 0 points. Just curious on most fantasy rules regarding questionable players who are scheduled for Monday night.

You have up until 5 minutes before their game to sub out a player. Yes you can drop someone from your roster that isn't in your starting lineup to pickup said backup (or any other player that has yet to play) assuming said backup is available.

It is the fantasy owner's responsibility to check their player's status/availability leading up to the game. Generally in game time decisions situation you add a player way in advance just I'm case.

They announce who is in and out an hour and a half before the game. So you have plenty of time to make moves.
I lost in my pay league last night by 10 points.

The guy I lost to had Jake Moody... 26 pts

Would you accept this deal?

I was offered CMC and Scary Terry for Jefferson and Kamara. I can counter with Metcalf instead of McLaurin but i doubt he would do that

Current RBS
Gibbs
Kamara
Mason
Harris
Warren
Pollard
Current WRS
Jefferson
London
Nabers
Thomas
Kirk

CMC a big upgrade over Kamara, although Kamara looks to be a solid option this year getting a lot of rushing volume in addition to his normal receiving volume.

RB
22 PPG Ceiling v 15 PPG Ceiling

WR
16.8 PPG v 10 PPG in Terry

It's almost a perfect difference between the two groups, 7 point swing each way.

Are you gonna get 22 ppg from mccaffery this year? I think it's more likely that Kamara meets 15 ppg and JJ meets or exceeds 16.8 ppg than CMC repeating 22 ppg and McLaurin beating his 10 ppg. Rookie QB, Injuries... JJ anchoring that WR of group of yours that has a lot of ?s below him. I think I'm standing pat.

If you can get DK, maybe I would consider that.

I don't love the trade. While I expect CMC will be fine, I think you are giving up too much considering the relative uncertainty of him.

I know he won't do this, but considering all the circumstances currently, I think London and Kamara is more than fair.

Its a pretty small money league so not a big deal for me. I dont have 49ers in any of my leagues other than Mason so I decided to counter replacing McLaurin with Metcalf. He accepted it. Time will tell if its a mistake

I would not do this. You'd be downgrading at WR which is the weaker of your two areas. I think the downgrade will be bigger than your upgrade at RB

I like it better with the upside of DK vs McLaurin

According to the value chart , the Jefferson / Kamara side is better in both PPr and non .

Metcalf would give a slight edge to you .
