Jordan Mason or Kyren Williams?

What does your team look like for one of them not to be your flex?

I'd go with the hot hand and play Mason. You know KS is going to get him the ball.

Need a flex start - N Harris, Godwin, Or Dobbins?

I don't think this is too bad, depending on league format. I wanted to leave my first two rounds with 2 of Brown/Wilson/Nacua/Gibbs with MHJ as a last resort, so I like the wilson pick. Ive been gambling on Corum in all my leagues which is the only reason im not going Kyren, but i think thats a fine pick. Id have probably went WR, but i like him more than Pacheco. At the 12 spot, its good to have an advantage at TE and QB, since youre constantly picking at the bottom of the barrel in each tier for WR and RB, so you got your WR1 and RB1 (both with legitimate upside to be the top player at their position) and then built advantages elsewhere. La porta at the 3/4 turn is pretty good (appropriate) value. He went early 3rd in mine. I just wouldn't have doubled up at QB considering you went with one of the elite options.

Brown & Gibbs is a very nice haul for you, including Smith. On my way to the championship last season my toughest out in the playoffs was a matchup against a team that had Kyren, Nakua, and Kupp. I was struggling with Kyren/Gibbs/Pacheco. I guess I was a little scared of Gibbs because of his hammy and his time share with Montgomery, but I looked at another analysis of him after my original response to you, and dang...probably should have went with him.

Kyren returning punts and Blake, kicks, supposedly full-time(?) is going to be interesting. Yeah, I was actually going to bypass a top-tier QB and just settle with Caleb, but wanted a hopefully sure thing in Hurts with Caleb as a viable backup and potential trade option.

For me, one thing I've "learned" is to not "waste" roster spots hedging my bets. Play for first place - 2nd place is just the first loser. Some bets are better than others, but since so much luck is involved, drafting is just gambling. If I'm going to bet that Kyren is worth a top 10-15 pick, then i don't also want to use a draft pick betting that Kyren will get hurt making Corum a league winner.

Kyren being a top 3 RB is not a bad bet to make. I just decided I like the returns better on the gamble that he gets hurt. An early off season hammy injury definitely makes Gibbs a risky gamble also.

I think picking last in a 12 team league this year is just unfortunate looking at the options +20. I need Hurts to have 48+ for me to win week 2, lol. I'm going to end up 0-2 to start the season.

In hindsight, I know it's early, and I don't remember feeling this bad about a team ever so early, but I probably should have went Gibbs and Achane with #11 and #12, forget picking a QB high (let alone two), and waiting to pick a TE. LaPorta, Dell (dropped a 50yd td pass), Wilson, and Williams, are all playing like fantasy trash. Only bright spot is drafting Jameson Williams, but let's see if he can keep it up.

this season so far has sucked on so many levels
How is Kyle Pitts this ineffective?? He was a beast at UF.

should I drop him for Goedert or Hunter Henry?

They just don't throw him the ball. I don't think you can drop him. TE is a s**t show. Cousins and ATL in general is going to improve as the season goes.

Any of you guys who have 49ers defense worried about them this week? I'm just thinking with us missing so many guys on offense it might be a weird game and bleed over into the defense not doing as well as they seemingly should against this Rams team without Kupp and Nacua…

If I had 49ers D, I'd feel comfortable, especially this week. But really, what are you gonna do? If you have 49er defense, I doubt your streaming defenses anyway.

Yeah. I normally don't get 49ers D cause one of my friends usually picks them in like the 10th round lol but this year no one picked them and it was like the 3rd to last round... I'm just thinking it's not the best situation with Bosa and Ward possibly missing. And us missing all those pieces on offense I could just see the defense getting put in some tough spots. Bucs (vs Broncos) is the best option on waivers. I kinda have a bench spot to burn idc if I drop Quentin Johnston I just picked him up this week lol

but yeah I'll probably just roll with them

Depending on the depth of your league and how many players you start, I wouldn't be so quick to dump QJ. For all of the injuries on Niners D, they got the Rams this week down their top 2 receivers and an OL that is bottom in the league
C.Kirk, S.Perine or Shakir? (half ppr)

Nice problem to have. I'd probably start Mason only because he's a 9er making it more fun. Do you have a flex and a second RB slot? Your team must be pretty good to only want to start one of them.

Tough break. I'd probably go Shakir. I can see a path for Perine, but it's one those moves that are hard to bank on.. usually you wanna make smart gambles or you're too late, but that's one where I want to see it first.

Dobbins or Zay Flowers (PPR)??
