Bad week..

I had this in the preseason:

QB: Matt Schaub, Joe Flacco, David Garrard
RB: Ladainian Tomlinson, Ronnie Brown, Donald Brown, Beanie Wells, Darren McFadden
WR: Roddy White, Calvin Johnson, Wes Welker, Earl Bennett
TE: Kellen Winslow, Dustin Keller
K:
DEF: Green Bay

1. Traded Roddy White & Ronnie Brown for Michael Turner. Turner laid goose egg after goose egg for me. Roddy White has gone on to be a top 6 WR. Ronnien Brown is a top 10 fantasy player overall.

Trade Result: LOSS

2. Dealt Joe Flacco/Wes Welker for a hurt McNabb and Anquan Boldin. Thought I would absolutely win that trade by having Boldin being more able to visit the endzone frequently.

Trade Result: LOSS

3. Traded Turner for Marion Barber and Greg Jennings. Turned around and dealt Jennings and Garrard for Andre Johnson. Week after I deal Turner...he turns around and s**ts on the 49ers for 3 td's.

Trade Result: N/A

QB: Schaub, McNabb
RB: Barber, LT, McFadden, Donald Brown, Mike Bell
WR: Calvin, Boldin, Andre J, Avery
TE: Celek
DEF: GB, Indy

Now I've got a top 5 player overall in Schaub and ain't s**t else. I would've been 4-2, 5-1...instead of 1-6. Moral of the story is...you like the team you draft....don't make any preseason trades.

an easy victory pushing me to 6-1 in one league.

Getting straight molly wopped in another. bout to fall to 4-2-1 Unless Brees can get me 5 td's in 23 minutes

First place across the board. Struck again with late p/u, this time Witherspoon from Philly. I figured he'd be good, but 2 FF, Sack, INT for TD, 17.5 points. I needed alll of them too, closest game yet, I only won by 12.
