Do you think he is worth starting this week? I keep hearing all this stuff about the Vikings run defense and how he'll be stopped. I'm also a little concerned about his ankle. If I don't start him I have McGahee. I appreciate any thoughts.

I'm starting Gore. He has all 4 Niner TDs so far this season, including two vs. the Cards when he couldn't get anything on the ground.
When the Niners get into the redzone, Gore is their number one target on the ground and in the air.
That being said, McGahee has had a great season so far, and there's no reason to believe it will stop vs. pathetic Cleveland.
The smart move would be McGahee over Gore, but I enjoy having the extra incentive to cheer my arse off for the Niners and Gore.

You know, McGahee vs. CLE could be a good matchup, but he could also be a bust as the second fiddle. The problem with goal-line backs against bad teams is that bad teams give up rushing scores from outside of the 20. I'd also look for a lot of dump-offs to Gore, which is big if you play with PPR.
This isn't a straight answer, but hopefully some useful food for thought.

This is is a tough decision. Welker's hurt but if he plays will put up solid numbers. T.O.'s due for a big game and Buffalo is going to have to score a lot to have any chance at the upset. Any thoughts are appreciated.

T.O. best bet. Doesn't sound like the Pats are very confident Welker will be ready for Sunday.
Buffalo is going to be involved in a shootout with the Saints, so T.O. should get plenty of chances to get involved in the offense.
