Dare I start 2 TEs?

I have 2 flex positions in this league, with Fitz and D Jackson both on bye weeks, and not a strong enough 3rd RB to start. I usually play 4 WR and my only bench was Josh Morgan who I cut. In a 12 team league there isn't much to choose from and I think VD will put up better numbers than Morgan anyway, and I have Olsen in the TE slot. Is it so crazy to start VD over a 4th WR that would be a reach to start anyway? I still have Jennings, Megatron, and S Holmes at WR so I don't need much out of that 4th spot.

Don't be fooled by Vern's game last week. That was an anomaly that even I saw coming.

But doesn't he lead the team in targets? I don't see that game again, but I could see another 6-8 catches for 60-80 yards, maybe a TD against Stl. I did put in a claim for Garcon, but I doubt I get since I am 12th.

When asking questions about Vernon, be skeptical of Krizay's ,answers, always

As usual since I'm #1 I didn't get my waiver claim, although I bagged Dumerville, so score there. It's either 2 TEs, or one of the TB RBs.

I say go with Vernon for 2 reasons.
1. He leads the team in targets
2. We are playing a Rams team who let John carlson walk all over them and then came back the next weekend to have chris cooley do the same.

Looks like my gamble worked. Both guys scored and the option I was considering, Garcon, put up less points than either TE. Couple that with my Dumerville p/u and 2 more sacks and it was a good week.
