I traded away Ryan Grant and Steve Smith (NYG)
In return, I received Marshawn Lynch and Greg Jennings.
Do you think I improved or lost out, and why?

You traded away the 3rd best WR in the league in yards and a better RB for the 34th WR in the league in yards and a worse RB on a worse team
good job

My through process with Smith is that his stock really can't get any higher and without weeks 2 and 4, his numbers are pretty standard. He's only caught 10 passes the past three games and all the Giants WRs are healthy.
I feel like Jennings is the opposite, playing way below his potential and due for a much improved second half.
As for the RBs, I've never been that huge on Grant and he couldn't even put up big numbers against the Lions. Plus Marshawn missed the first 3 games and only has 2 fewer TDs than Grant.

I can see where you are coming from, but if thats indeed the case you could have gotten more out of this trade

It could work out. Smith has practically disappeared the last two games, and Nicks seems to be getting more play time.

Greg Jennings does have the potential for bigger and better but I would rather have Grant then Lynch because Buffalo's O is horrid and at least Giants have a good air attack so Steve Smith will get the looks. Overall, I think I would rather have Grant and Smith.

like the Smith and Jennings trade. Unsure about the Grant/Lynch side.
Definitely think the time to trade Smith was 2 weeks ago. Tried myself and couldn't get any takers. Though I was aiming a bit high.
Overall fair trade with more upside than downside. Worst case scenario Grant outperforms Lynch by a little more than Jennings outperforms Smith from here on out.

Grant > Lynch
Jennings > Steve Smith
I think you sold high on Smith. With Nicks stepping up, he's going to have a tough time putting up high points like he did to start the year. Personally, I'd rather have Jennings, but I wouldn't be surprised if after the season they announced he'd been dealing with an ailment all year.

This. I think Lynch and Jennings are both going to improve throughout the rest of the season. But I don't know if Lynch will ever be more productive than Grant this year.
