Looking to deal Witten

So I have Witten and Vernon Davis. Witten hasn't been too impressive while Davis is breaking out.

On the RB front I'm hurting a little bit.

So the guy in my league who had Owen Daniels (out for season) isn't carrying another TE.

At RB he has:

Micheal Turner
Tim Hightower
Cedric Benson
Ricky Williams

I'm hoping I can use Witten's star power to land a quality RB to play in my second slot. Thinking of proposing Witten for Benson with a side note that I would make the same trade for Hightower (it's a PPR league making Hightower a legit starter IMO).

I don't do a lot of trades so I was hoping to get some feedback from some of you fantasy vets! I want to strike quick though there are other guys in my league with good TE depth as well.

he'd be a total idiot if he gave you benson for witten straight up.

Hightower is the only rb of that list I'd give you, I think Ricky has more value than HT, if you can get him instead you'd get a good deal IMO

Yeah I don't want to insult him and run him off, but I don't know this guy and was kind of going with the "you don't get what you don't ask for" mentality.

You think Ricky would be better value than Hightower? I don't know why (I haven't seen him play lately) but Ricky makes me uneasy. Still I see your point. If I can get him talking maybe I'll bring Williams up as a third option.

You would agree I'd be getting a good deal for any of them?

I think so, even if Witten starts to produce Vernon's already had his bye and I don't expect his production to reduce much, if at all.

You can sell Witten high by pumping up Romo's play as of late, and if you need a RB bad then you need to make that deal and this guy without a TE seems like a perfect match.

and regarding Williams, he's hot on that wildcat and he catches lots of passes from the backfield too. In my PPR league, Ricky is averaging 17.5 points coming into this week
