My Deep South 69ers are 6-2, tied for 1st place with this weekends opponent, the Sex Panthers. I know... WTF is up with those names?
But here's my roster:
Romo
LT
Gore
Derrick Mason
Michael Crabtree
TJ Houshmandzadeh
Vernon Davis
Stephen Gostowski (New England Kicker)
Seahawks D/ST
Bench
Favre(BYE)
Reshard Mendenhall
Ryan Moats
Jonathan Stewart
Jerome Harrison (Cleveland RB)
Chargers D/ST
49ers D/ST
Here's my opponent's roster:
Rivers
Michael Turner
Ronnie Brown
Wes Welker
Reggie Wayne
Vincent Jackson
Kellen Winslow
Packers D/ST
Robbie Gould
Bench
Ochocinco
Felix Jones
Devin Hester
Cadillac Williams
Mercedes Lewis
Jeremy Maclin
Falcons D/ST
Who should I start? And should I pick up Alex Smith against the Titans' 32nd ranked pass D in the league to let him start over Romo against the Eagles 10th ranked pass D? Romo and Myles Austin are so hot now that I am scared to pass up on him for an unpredictable Alex Smith. ESPN projects Smith to score 19 fantasy points vs Romo's 13 this weekend.
My opponent's roster is so strong, I need all the help I can get.

It might help if you edited your post to show the matchup that your players were going up against.

He has a far superior team. You just have to roll the dice because you shouldnt be able to beat him straight up.

I don't know what the rules are in your league, you have tons of RBs, 3 DEFs, and no backup WRs. You have a lot of pretty decent RBs, but your WRs aren't that good, and you need more of them anyway.
I'm sure it's too late to swing a trade for this week. But if you're near the top in your league you should get on that and hope to make a good push for the playoffs.

I would play Reshard Mendenhall.
