No Palmer is having a decent year, but he is @ Pittsburgh this week
pick up orton
palmer
The Palmer owner dropped him during the Bengals bye week even though he had just thrown for 5 TD"s huh?

Hell no. I just dropped Orton to pick up Smith. I also have Schaub as my starter. Orton has a lousy matchup this week and he blows anyway. I think Alex has a good night.

I'd play Smith, unless your league punishes big time for picks. He has a good match up, is at home and the only game on. Call me crazy and I'm a huge pessimist but I think we may blow Chicago out tonight. I'd put Smith at around 250 and 2 TDs.

Hasselbeck

Did you see what Jay Cutler did to the Arizona Defense? And the Seahawks can't run the football if their lives depended on it, they will throw at least 50 times in this football game. Expect Hasselbeck to have 280+ yards and 1 or 2 TD's.

How can you possibly start Alex Smith after the insane number of turnovers he had last week.

I think you should start Smith. I think he's going to have a pretty nice game tonight.

Plus, remember what Zona did to Hasselbeck and the Seahawks in Seattle in their first match-up, not pretty.

Because this is a new week, Chicago's secondary is horrible and beat up, and this should be a wide open game with lots of passing on both sides.

The Titans were the 32nd ranked passing defense until they faced Alex Smith.

[EDIT: They still are the 32nd ranked passing defense]

Smith has never been a reliable fantasy quarterback.

Actually not all that bad this year. I would take 15-20 pts from him which is what he has done 2 of the last 3 weeks.
Take crzy's opinion on smith with a grain of salt.

I'm not sure he wouldn't be ok if Hill had started every game for us this year

My stance is simple.

Shaun Hill sucks. Alex Smith sucks as well.

I'd rather have the guy who had as at 3-1 over the nice guy with the tools who likely will never amount to anything. And who still stares down his receivers.
