good move?

You play in a rookie league that means nothing if you are playing fantasy in week 17!

Ummm what? In week 17 that is the final game of the season. Well until Playoff draft starts anyway.

Yo zach are you in rotisserie league or?

Don't think it much matters what level the league is tho.

Okay you answered it. Well I would go with Smith but not expect him to do much. That way if he has a solid game you're happier.

I have Duke in both my leagues and dude has been goin OFF. He better be the number 1 guy next season after this.

~Ceadder

No respectable league is playing week 17. No peyton manning, etc etc. Rookies!

Real fantasy leagues ended last week!

Ummmm, then you play the guys that have something to play for right?

I you are running a league that has

QB
WR
WR
WR
RB
RB
TE/Utility
Defense
Kicker

You can play into the 17th week will little drop off but you have to be willing to do your homework. And you have to have a nose for who will be playing through to the playoffs and who won't. So having a solid Backup player is imperative when you have a Manning or a Warner etc.

I agree that most leagues finish early by one game but you also have to remember some leagues don't get started til after the 1st week. Alot of that has to do with leagues that are short on managers.

So maybe you can dial down your thought from overload to moderate?

At all the rookies defending a week 17 championship game without some of the best players in the NFL even playing.

Yeah I want to make it to the SB and then Have Joe Montana and Jerry Rice not even play!

It takes really good FF players to adjust to the players not playing and stuff, It adds more of a challenge.

Its stupid not a challenge!!!!!

Its a challenge to be stupid, unless you are challenged then its not your fault you are stupid.

Geez what a pathetic attempt at an intelligent rebuttal. Did you take intro account injuries in your weak argument? Or do you wear Superman Underoos too?

Just stop before you show everyone how childish you are.

Ummmm have you played much FF?

I'm not knocking you here, but you came into this acting like 16 week season is better than 17 week season.

When actually injuries play a part in both and the guy you hitched your wagon to(for the sake of your Manning argument) could get injured and now you gotta scramble to find a replacement. Correct? It's the same in a 17 week league. I've played both and it's ALOT harder to win a Championship in the 17th week.

So you gotta know your players their teams and the tendencies of their Coaching staff to be able to compete at that level. You also gotta know that you're not going to have everyone at the end due to injury or due to them sitting the game out. So you make sure you have a quality backup or trade for one.

So please stop acting like a 16 week season is better than a 17 week. It's my opinion that both are good, but the rubber meets the road in a 17 weeks season because you have to know what you're doing or you're going to be out by game 12.

Not saying that 17 weeks season is better. Just saying that it's a tad more challenging.
